I flew the distance, where I've been
Beyond the highways, through the mountains
Came an angel, never seen

She was bleeding, but she smiled
Her eyes were open, and on fire
It is ok, I was told
She held my hands as she got cold

Under the moonlight, in my dreams
I flew the prison, where I've been
Beyond the dark days, towards the Sun
Where the light is, for everyone

Oh I was bleeding, but I smiled
As I was where, there was fire
Where the hope lived and life was fair
I saw the angel, she was there

It's not a dream and it is real
We are awake and we can feel
Beyond the darkness, through the Sun
Hope is breathing, it will come
